In the last article, many people commented and asked how is the “ants tactic”.
It’s simple: fry something that sticks in the pan, and instead wasting 2 hours with a sponge, just put your pan in the sink and the ants will do the hard work for you, then you just need to wash it and the pan is ready to be used again. Domestics ants are lazy, lately they just clean spoons and dishes with food made in the same day.
If you read my last article, you’ll know that ants also don’t like to clean burned rice.
Conclusion: Ants really do the dishes in my house.

It happens all the time with anyone who lives on your own, we’re always trying some home improvements by ourselves, always trying DIY ( DO IT YOURSELF) on things like ‘fixing faucets without calling the plummer or the shower without an electrician and so on…

My first time with the ‘DIY syndrome’ happened when I started living by myself, I had an issue with the toilet and decided to do it myself ! And what happened with me is what happens with anyone with the ‘home improvements syndrome’ : you end up hurt and spending money you don’t have (even more that you’d spend if you have gotten a professional) and the results aren’t so satisfactory.

Without mentioning that you waste time ( that you also don’t have) and the work done sucks.

Maybe you don’t believe, but everyone has an ‘DIY syndrome’ inside…

After talking about how I got ‘lonely Fun’, let’s talk about when vacation is over and you don’t notice it.

It can seem strange, but who live on your own knows about this problem: you think everything is alright, enjoying the boreness of your vacation until someone appear on MSN and say: ‘hey, won’t you come back to College? It has a month classes have stared’.

Is happened to me twice, but this time nobody told me anything on MSN, I think my classmates can’t stand me anymore and they don’t want me to come back.

College breaks are the worst for us (living on our own), you get home from work and have nothing to do, and most of you friends just want to rest.

July breaks suck, nobody wants to go out because it’s cold. Here are some tips of what to do during your break time( some of them I`m doing myself):

1- Working Out: sign up in a gym, it’s a great place to get to know new people, if you can’t afford a gym, go for a walk, you won’t meet anyone but you’ll see lots of women in tight clothes, and if you are a girl, you’ll just see non fit men that just work out on vacation because they don’t have anything better to do.

2- Go to the movies, or rent a movie, in my case I don’t have a DVD player at home, so I download movies from Internet, but watching movies alone really sucks, it makes me sleep.

3- Do a Blog and annoy your friends to comment it.

Everyone who lives by yourself get addicted to instant food. When I saw the commercial, I thought it interest sing: “A Hamburger faster than instant Noodles”? Anyways, when I went to the store, I got scared with the price of it, 4 bucks. But that’s ok. I bought it to see how I like it and then write here. In y city’s store, they had chicken, meat and pork flavor, of course I got Meat!!

The burger comes in a plastic bag that you are supposed to put it in the microwave without taking off the bag… that stuff is really quick!
But I didn’t like it that much, Hot Pockets are practice and fast, but for 4 bucks????
I rather buy a dozen hamburger box and fry then at home, it’s so cheaper and I’ll eat more for less.

Resuming: Hot Pockets are for those moments you want to eat a hamburger but don’t want fry or ask for delivery service, and also, it doesn’t come with bacon, it’s just the burger and cheese.
I prefer a big fatty Hamburger.

Whoever lives on your own and have never burned rice may throw the first stone on this blog. Once I was cooking some rice and as I was so hungry I started eating leftover pizza from last night while my rice got ready.

It was around 2 PM and I had to go back to the office and believe me I forgot to turn off the stove.
When I came back, in the afternoon, the house was smoky and the rice looked like charcoal (I could even cook a barbecue with it).

My house didn’t catch on fire or I didn’t run out of gas but to proof Murphy’s Law, I had no dinner and my house smelled like smoke for a week. And I think I lost my pan with all that (I’ll try ‘ants’ tactic’)

Burning rice is one of the worst things of living by yourself, because when it happens it’s all your bad.

I don’t know if I didn’t throw  away the old toothbrushes,  the only thing I know  is that there are three of them living  in my bathroom, and  who lives on your own  will agree with me : ‘ Toothbrushes multiples themselves in our bathroom’.

And the worst  thing about it is that I have no idea how they got there.  There is one that I’ve seen  for a long time, but I have never used it and I don’t  know how it appeared in my house and  I just  realized it today.
I`ve seen  people that live by themselves  and they  usually have an extra toothbrushes to clean their phones, to polish their shoes, anyways, even toothbrushes taking showers and stuff like that.

Hey, you who lives on your own, go check it out in you bathroom.  Is there any ghost toothbrush? Or this kind of stuff just happens with me?????
