It happens all the time with anyone who lives on your own, we’re always trying some home improvements by ourselves, always trying DIY ( DO IT YOURSELF) on things like ‘fdiy syndromeixing faucets without calling the plummer or the shower without an electrician and so on…

My first time with the ‘DIY syndrome’ happened when I started living by myself, I had an issue with the toilet and decided to do it myself ! And what happened with me is what happens with anyone with the ‘home improvements syndrome’ : you end up hurt and spending money you don’t have (even more that you’d spend if you have gotten a professional) and the results aren’t so satisfactory.

Without mentioning that you waste time ( that you also don’t have) and the work done sucks.
